The Foundation of the Course
Speaking often appears to be a simple action. However, like walking, it involves a highly complex coordination system behind the scenes.
Just as walking requires the coordination of:
legs
feet
balance
and thousands of muscles working together
speaking also functions as a whole.
When speaking, the following work simultaneously and in harmony:
tongue
lips
vocal cords
throat and larynx
diaphragm and breath
That’s why improving speaking is not just about knowing words or grammar. Training speaking means training the voice as a whole system.
Speaking = Muscles + Coordination + Reflex
Even if we don’t notice it, speaking largely happens through reflexes.
For example:
When you type with ten fingers, your fingers know the keys automatically
When entering your PIN, you don’t consciously think of each number
When speaking your native language, you don’t think “where should I place my tongue?”
This is muscle memory.
Your speech organs also develop a kind of memory. Through repetition, the tongue, lips, and voice muscles automate movements.
One of the main reasons we struggle in a foreign language is:
The muscles are not used to the language
The movements are not automated
This leads to tension, hesitation, and stress.
Why Is Shadowing So Effective?
This is where the shadowing technique comes in.
Shadowing is based on:
repeating a specific text or video
again and again
simultaneously, with correct rhythm and pronunciation
Thanks to this repetition:
Your speech muscles adapt to new sounds
Your speaking speed and rhythm become natural
You develop the reflex to speak without thinking
👉 In short, shadowing is not just a listening technique — it is a training method for your speaking muscles.
Why Is This Course Necessary?
This course teaches:
not only what to say
but also how to say it
The goal is to:
train speech organs as a whole
build muscle memory
reduce stress
and make speaking more comfortable, fluent, and controlled
Just like learning to walk or write, speaking becomes natural and effortless when practiced correctly.
This is the core idea of the course:
Developing speaking not by thinking, but by turning it into a habit.

Özgür Aksoy
Hello,
I hold a degree in Accounting and Finance, and I have also had the opportunity to further develop myself in the fields of media and technology. I began my career in the media industry and worked for nearly 10 years as a reporter, presenter, and program producer at various organizations, including TRT. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in self-expression, effective communication, and proper tone of voice.
For the past four years, I have been living in the Netherlands, where I currently work as an IT Audit Consultant. My career path can be described as a multidisciplinary journey that brings together finance, technology, and communication.
Through these diverse experiences, I have come to believe that communication is not only about what we say, but also how we say it. My goal is to help individuals express themselves more clearly, confidently, and naturally.
